Class Date: Wednesday 26th February, 7pm
In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to bake and fill Buttermilk Scones from scratch. You’ll also learn how to make a simple compote which you could use to fill your scones.
This class is for anyone that is new to baking or wants to perfect their scones. I’ll take you through every step including how to make light scones and how to get them to rise. We’ll talk about mixing, ingredient choices, cutting and shaping, and baking techniques.
Cost includes all the ingredients and recipes, a cuppa and treat at break time, plus you’ll get to take home the scones you made.
Classes are expected to last approximately 2.5 hours and will take place at our commercial kitchen nr Dryburgh Industrial Estate, Dundee.
