Class Date: Tuesday January 28th, 7pm
In this hands-on class you’ll learn how to cover a cake with fondant, plus you’ll learn how to do a simple swagger and rosette.
This class is for anyone that is new to baking or wants to perfect their cake covering skills. I’ll take you through every step including how (and why) to add a crumb coat, rolling out your fondant, marbling, smoothing techniques and we’ll talk air bubbles, elephant skin, bulges and sharp edges.
Cost includes all the ingredients and recipes, a cuppa and treat at break time, plus you’ll get to take home a decorated 6″cake to enjoy later.
Classes are expected to last approximately 2.5 hours and will take place at our commercial kitchen nr Dryburgh Industrial Estate, Dundee.
